Discover How To Market In Social Networking Sites With MLMLeadSystemPro

Today, I am going to discuss how to market your business on social networking sites. Much of what I discuss today are things I have learned from MLMLeadSystemPro. For starters, it is important that you have a picture of yourself that matches what you currently look like today. It is best to present yourself as who you are today as opposed who you were yesterday. Today you want to present yourself as a leader, so if you don't have a recent picture of yourself, I suggest you either get one taken by a family member or friend, or go somewhere where you can have your picture taken. Pictures are a way in which to connect with others, so they are very important.

Once you have a picture of yourself selected, you want to setup your profile. Most people who setup a profile within a social networking site, usually are promoting their business opportunity, their products or services. You don't want to do this. You want to set yourself apart from others and the way to accomplish this is to setup your profile where you are talking about yourself. The reason for this is quite simple. You are not really marketing your products, your services or your business opportunity. You are marketing yourself. Here is food for thought. People join people, not businesses.

In your profile, you can share your experiences in network marketing, your failures and successes in building a business, but it is also advisable to share information about yourself. Some things you might want to consider in sharing information about yourself is talk about your interests, your hobbies, or some of your goals. Anything that concerns you and that you think will interest others is always a good idea to include in your profile.

Once you have your profile setup, then you need to engage in exposing yourself within the site and what I mean by this is to start introducing yourself to others within the social networking site. Some things I do is I will every day send out about 30-50 invitations to people. Don't go over 50 because most social networking sites don't allow this. If you do go over 50, you will be reprimanded and one of the ways in which social networking sites do this is by disabling your account. I know because FaceBook did this to me. Of course, once this does happen, what you can do is to create another account, using a different email address, which is what I did once FaceBook disabled my account. This was about 2 months ago. I have also received warnings from MySpace. Anytime your account is disabled, this means you have to start all over again and that is a pain, but we do what is required of us as entrepreneurs.

Afer reestablishing an account with a social networking site, it is key to immediately engage in your marketing. Be diligent with your marketing. After my account was disable, this is what I did and it has paid off. I now have over 2000 friends in my friends list. This is only because I have been very persistent and consistent in my marketing efforts. Being persistent and consistent is key to any marketing method that you use. It is a lot of work in the beginning, but in the end, you will be paid dividends for your hard work.

The goal of marketing in a social networking site is to set yourself up as a leader. Let people know that you are a knowledgable business person and you are available to help others who are struggling with their MLM/Network Marketing. One way to do this is to create a group. Most social networking sites do allow you to create a group. In a group, you can talk about your business; not so much as a means of marketing it, but just to let those who join your group, what type of experiences you have in managing your own business.

Once you create your group, start sending out invitations to people to join your group. Again, you want to send, maybe, 30-50 invitations to people informing them of your group. I am not sure how often you should do this in some of the other social networking sites, like MySpace, BetterNetworker, or DirectMatches, but I know in FaceBook, you want to send about 30-50 invitations every other day.

Your group should have some kind of purpose. I have a group in FaceBook and basically what I do is share my knowledge about marketing and running a business. I do this by sending helpful information to the members in my group every other day. I also send out inspirational articles to people in my group. These are just some of the ways in which I build relationships with the people in my group.

Often, as a means of displaying leadership, I will post helpful articles on my profile. I will also post an article within the blog section or article section of the social networking site. All of these methods is a way in which, you as a leader, are building relationships with others, letting others know that you are a leader, and also setting yourself apart from those individuals that spend most of their time marketing their products, services or business opportunity.

For my business with www.ezmlmprofits.com, I do market this because this is considered to be a tool that anybody who owns a network marketing or online business can use. Again, I want to help other network marketers and online business owners, so I share with them this tool called www.ezmlmprofits with others because it is something that will help them grow their business. Therefore, I will often post some information about this company, include a link and also include a banner to make the post more noticeable.

Speaking of banners. Banners are a good way to market your business. I have used banners in FaceBook and in DirectMatches (www.directmatches.com/lawrensmith). In FaceBook, I have posted banners on my profile page and then sent invitations to people so that when they come by to my profile, one of the things they will immediately see is my banner. I have also posted banners in DirectMatches. I usually post the banners in the comment section of other members of Directmatches. The banners are actually clickable, meaning that once someone clicks on them, they will be taken to my website. I had this happen to me today. Someone opted into my website from a banner that I had posted in DirectMatches a while ago. Often, in marketing, you may not see the results immediately, but this is because what you are doing is planting seeds. Over time, you will reap the benefits of the seeds that you sow.

In conclusion, social networking sites are a great way to get leads. This is because social networking sites allow you to establish relationships with people. People are more willing to join or purchase from people they trust and this is why creating relationships with people online or even offline is so important for people who are interested in building a business. Also, being consistent and persistent in your marketing efforts is key to a successful marketing plan. Lastly, set aside time to engage in income producing activities and I am not talking about sending emails or talking on the phone to members in your group. You need to keep your pipeline full of new prospects coming in and thus, being fully engaged in your marketing is vital to having a successful business.
